Acme uses only organic flour and works closely with farmers in evaluating and selecting the grain varieties for its flour each year.
Bay Crossings, a privately owned company that was created to meet the needs of ferry commuters and tourists, is a ferry ticket shop and ferry and tour information center.
beekind sources honey from it’s own hives, which they do not treat with pesticides or antibiotics. They also source from other beekeepers around the Bay Area and the country. They offer a wide selection of popular local honey like Sebastopol Wildflower and the rare Redwood Forest Honeydew from Guerneville.
Benedetta is a Sonoma County-based skin and body care line made from farm-sourced botanicals. Ingredients come from Certified Organic and Biodynamic farms, many of them local. Each product is made by hand in small batches to assure quality and freshness.
Every Saturday, Biscuit Bender offers a variety of homemade biscuits - from sweet (cinnamon, peanut butter chocolate chip, lemon poppy seed, Mexican Hot Chocolate) to savory (wild mushroom, bacon maple, corn jalapeno).
Blue Bottle Coffee
Blue Bottle Coffee has two locations in the Ferry Building Marketplace. The older location is a modern espresso bar in the north nave, and the newer location, their Tasting Room, is out front in the North Arcade.
Book Passage is a charming bookstore on the Bay side of the Ferry Building Marketplace. The book selection emphasizes local travel, food, cooking, sustainable agriculture and ecology, and photo and gift books about the Bay Area.
Boulettes Larder, a respected restaurant venue serving breakfast, lunch, and Sunday brunch, presents a visually stunning larder which serves as a discerningly selected and daily changing market for prepared food as well as grocery elements which include an extensive spice selection, Japanese ingredients, and carefully prepared sophisticated pastry items.
The food is created with the careful and sophisticated array of spices, salts, oils, and culinary products that Chef Schwertner stocks in her Larder.

Cowgirl Creamery’s Artisan Cheese Shop is a full-service artisan cheese shop featuring premium farmstead cheeses.
Cowgirl Sidekick, a cheese and dairy bar, next to the Cowgirl Creamery cheese shop in the Ferry Building Marketplace, offers a morning menu that includes challah rolls with sweet and savory fillings, a lunch menu that includes a fresh mozzarella bar, and of course their famous grilled cheese.
CUESA’s Ferry Plaza Farmers Market
The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is a California certified farmers market operated by the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA). The three weekly markets offer produce and flowers from top Bay Area farmers — much of which is organic. A wealth of other products includes meat, seafood, and regional artisanal specialties — such as breads, cheeses, and jams.
Dandelion Chocolate, located in the North Arcade just next to Gott’s, offers an opportunity for visitors to purchase pastries, hot & cold chocolate drinks all made with Dandelion chocolate. The shop is also stocked with chocolate bars and other beautiful retail items.
DELICA is a Japanese delicatessen with a world cuisine menu. The store’s sleek, stainless steel and wood design, like the food served, is contemporary and beautiful.
El Porteño Empanadas
Argentinean ex-pats and local devotees line up for these El Porteño's hand-made empanadas. El Porteño owner Joseph Ahearne got the recipe for his buttery and flaky empanada pastry from his Argentinean grandmother.
Far West Fungi
Far West Fungi is a one-stop destination for mushrooms. The shop carries a wide selection of culinary mushrooms (both fresh and dried), medicinal mushroom supplements, and even mushroom logs to grow your own at home.
Farm Fresh To You
The Farm Fresh to You Store is a full service gourmet market providing Bay Area customers with harvested fresh produce from the Barsotti farm in the Capay Valley and shipped directly to the Ferry Building.
Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant
In the style of European wine merchants, Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant is a classic, hands-on, service-oriented shop for buying, tasting, and learning about wine. The nearly 3,000 square foot shop carries smaller production wines from around the world, as well as everyday, high-quality labels.

G. L. Alfieri
This quaint shop offers a variety of nuts – almonds, pistachios, walnuts, pecans. The almonds come in a variety of flavors – applewood smoked, cinnamon honey, lemon chili, maple, almond meal for baking, slivered almonds, and much, much more.
Glassybaby creates hand-blown collectible tea light glass votive candle holders that make exceptional gifts and give back to charity. To date, glassybaby has donated more than $5 million dollars to organizations dedicated to helping people, animals, and the environment heal.
Golden Gate Meat Company
Golden Gate Meat Company is a family-owned business that was founded in San Francisco in 1977 by the Offenbach family, whose company motto is “Service with quality, the old-fashioned way.”
