It features fresh-baked whole wheat Pain Epi from Acme Bread Company, accompanied by a rich, creamy butter churned from 100% grass-fed cow’s milk and their best-selling organic Apricot conserve—handmade in small batches in the Frog Hollow Farm kitchen from tree-ripened apricots grown in their Brentwood orchard. Cheesemonger Round Up At Sidekick Monday through Friday from 3:30pm-6:30pm

Cowgirl Creamery is excited to have launched a new menu at their Sidekick Café focusing on their most popular cheesy items and introducing their new interactive cheese-tasting experience: The Cheesemonger Roundup. Monday through Friday from 3:30pm-6:30pm, guests can have an engaging experience with a Cowgirl cheesemonger who, after a chat about preferences and interests, will prepare a bountiful cheese plate of one, three, or five cheeses plus accoutrements. Accompanied by tasty pairings of local beers and wines, it is a fun and delicious way to explore new flavors in the artisan cheese world.

New Desserts At The Slanted Door

The Slanted Door’s dessert department has been busy creating beautiful desserts. Their Pastry Chef Roselynn Vu has created some delicious new desserts to please all the mothers in your life. Like these S’mores, with manjari chocolate custard, graham crumbs, brownie, toasted meringue served with graham cracker ice cream and new sorbet of the month– passionfruit and banana.

Mariposa’s Gluten-Free Offerings for Mother’s Day

Mariposa Baking Company is excited to be serving special gluten-free treats for Mother’s Day in the Ferry Building bakeshop!


Stop by this weekend for a Mother’s Day Lemon Bundt cake, the ‘Mama version’ of their classic lemon almond bundt. Baked with zingy lemon zest and a touch of almond meal, this bundt is topped with a sweet glaze and glittery yellow sugar crystals.


New to the menu are pull-apart Sticky Buns! These gooey delights are baked with brown sugar, butter and pecans, and include 4 soft buns baked together in a caramelized round. Delicious straight from our shop or warmed at home, these gluten-free sticky buns shine at brunch or dessert.


Mariposa will also be offering a delicate Strawberry Rhubarb Galette made with fresh organic strawberries and organic rhubarb. A perfectly tart-but-still-sweet filling makes this galette a delicious dessert to enjoy with friends and family.


And what better way to say ‘I Love You’ to Mom than with a Chocolate Heart-Shaped Cake!? This single layer 6″ heart will absolutely do the trick. This cake boasts a moist, chocolate crumb with a smooth chocolate ganache poured over the top. For some extra flair, it’s decorated with heart-shaped sprinkles.


And last but not least, Mariposa is offering their specialty Chocolate Cake Donuts!
