Frenchy Gourmet is a Northern California artisan yogurt company founded by Muhammad Ali, a native of Tunisia who set out to recreate his grandmother’s homemade yogurt using kefir cheese, milk, and real fruit. What started as a two-market operation in Sacramento has grown into a beloved Bay Area staple, available at more than 30 weekly farmers’ markets from the Outer Sunset to Nevada City and now at its first brick and mortar location at the Ferry Building. Every container is made without additives or preservatives, in more than 20 rotating flavors rooted in seasonal fruit and French culinary tradition.
