Subtle Spirits is more than your traditional independent bottler. This small California-based brand was founded by Joshua Thinnes. Joshua honed his palate as the buyer at an important Bay Area retailer.

After 11 years of selecting casks and curating his selections, he set his sights on production. Part spirits purveyor, part alchemist, now he’s buying and bottling small batch spirits from around the world.

His ideas are brought to life by original artwork produced in collaboration with artists that delivers an experience that extends beyond the glass, canvas, or mind.

Joshua will be pouring the sold-out ‘Quixotic’ straight rye and the newly released ‘Paper Trail’ blended whiskey.
