The Tracy Piper

The Voss Gallery and the Ferry Building have partnered to display “In This Together”, a summer installation that invites the viewer to explore what community really means. Driven by a message of inclusivity, Bay Area native The Tracy Piper’s goal is to shake the normal narrative up and create truly inclusive work that dazzles while demanding thought, shining a light on the LGBTQIA+, Black, POC, feminist and tough social subjects, in a magical abstract/realist style.

The Tracy Piper will hosting an art sale pop-up in Suite 31 of the Ferry Building Marketplace on June 18th and 19th from 10am – 4pm. A portion of print sales will benefit Lead-K.

The LEAD-K Campaign is a direct response to the alarming number of Deaf and hard of hearing children arriving at school without language. Language deprivation has irreparable catastrophic consequences on the educational, social and vocational development of Deaf and hard of hearing children. When provided with access and opportunities, the Deaf child has normal ability to develop language. The Deaf child who has the foundation of language will acquire English literacy.
