Market to Table Demo: Wafa and Mounir Bahloul, Kayma

Market to Table Demo: Wafa and Mounir Bahloul, Kayma

Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Kayma is Chef Wafa and Mounir Bahloul’s vision of Algerian hospitality. Their eatery will welcome you with hearty and flavorful, halal North African fare with Bedouin, Berber, and French influences.

This demo is part of a series featuring participants of the La Cocina business incubator program, in anticipation of the opening of the La Cocina Municipal Marketplace, a women-led food hall located at 101 Hyde Street in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District. CUESA partners with La Cocina to offer market opportunities for low-income food entrepreneurs as they formalize and grow their businesses.

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
