CUESA Volunteer Orientation

CUESA Volunteer Orientation

Resolve to give back in the New Year! Make friends, gain valuable skills, and help grow thriving communities through the power and joy of local food by volunteering with CUESA.

To learn more about our volunteer program, please join us for an orientation on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 6 to 7:30 pm at the San Francisco Ferry Building. Doors open at 5:30 pm.

Register on Eventbrite.

Topics covered during orientation include:

  • What a food system is and how CUESA contributes
  • History and background of CUESA
  • How CUESA operates
  • The farmers market and educational programs
  • Volunteer policies and opportunities

The CUESA staff will be on hand to discuss their role in the organization and answer your questions. As an added plus, we’ll enjoy fresh local snacks from the farmers market. To learn more about the various volunteer opportunities at CUESA, visit this link.

Please complete our online application here before attending the orientation and before starting your volunteer service.

The orientation takes place in the Port Commission Hearing Room on the second floor at the Ferry Building. Just walk up the large staircase under the clocktower and you will see the room on the bayside of the building.

We hope to see you there!
