Hecho En San Francisco

For one night only, this 2nd annual "Made in San Francisco" event will offer guests a spread of antojitos from some of San Francisco's best Mexican restaurants and food vendors (including several from La Cocina), handcrafted cocktails from fine tequila makers, and a choice of two Mexican beers.

Cinco de Mayo—a holiday that commemorates the Mexican army's victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1892—is generally celebrated only in Puebla, Mexico and the US.  Here it's been adopted much like St. Patrick's Day, as a day for all Americans to celebrate their mixed cultural heritage—but mostly (and most honestly), as an excuse to drink beer.

To celebrate San Francisco's rich culture of Mexican food and drink with intent, join us for this celebration benefiting CUESA and La Cocina. $55 will get you unlimited food and drink.
