Happy Girl Kitchen’s shop on the south side of the Ferry Building offers up an array of preserved jams, pickles, juices and marmalades. The shelves are stocked with a seasonal array of jams like strawberry lavender, apricot chili, cinnamon plum, and much, much more. Pickled & preserved produce include beets, green beans, spicy carrots, and bread & butter pickles.
Owners Todd & Jordan Champagne Happy Girl Kitchen is located on the Central California Coast, and the abundant region offers them a variety of organic produce to work with. Todd and Jordan were first introduced to food preservation when they worked together on a farm in Norway in 1999. Back in the states, they saw the need to preserve the regional harvest so people could eat a diversity of local produce year-round. Happy Girl Kitchen has developed simple recipes and techniques so the good life of the central coast of California can be tasted in each bite! A celebration of the simple life each time a jar is opened!
