Culinaire is a beautiful antique shop dedicated to the culture of food and wine. The shop specializes in antiques from nineteenth century France, England and America. Rare and finely-crafted objects are organized within four charming vignettes— wine, kitchen, dining room and picnic items. Shoppers will find both small and large treasures— copper pots and fish poachers, champagne coolers, cheese-making equipment, vintage fruit-picking tools, dinnerware, oyster and asparagus plates, tromp l’oeil decorative items, picnic baskets, still life paintings, dining room tables, and chef’s butcher blocks and pot racks.

Proprietors Loey and Peter Montagne travel regularly to Europe and New England to seek out wonderful items that can only be found by those with extensive knowledge and friendships cultivated over time. Both are as enthusiastic about food and cooking as they are about the antique objects they sell.
