Salumi Sampler!

An assortment of Boccalone’s salami including: Orange & Wild Fennel Salame, Soppressata di Calabria, Brown Sugar and Fennel and Salame Pepato.  All of Boccalone’s salami feature heritage-breed pork, Italian sea salt, and the highest-quality spices, slow-cured in a natural casing. Includes: Assortment of four individual Salami - unsliced, each approximately 8 ounces.

Boccalone Salumeria is the first retail location of the artisanal salumi venture from Chris Cosentino and Mark Pastore of Incanto Restaurant. The Salumeria features more than 20 varieties of Boccalone’s handmade cured meats. Boccalone’s salumi are handcrafted in small batches across the Bay in Oakland, using sustainably raised, heritage-breed pork and the highest quality spices and salts.

Customers can purchase hot and cold panini, salumi sliced to order, salumi platters, or portable salumi cones to enjoy while strolling through the Marketplace. Boccalone Salumeria tempts shoppers with a changing selection of panini, such as Hot Italian Sausage with pickled peppers; Salame Pepato with mozzarella, basil and roasted peppers; and Lonza with peach and mint.  Other take-out options include picnic platters, salami gift boxes, condiments and t-shirts.  

To drink, Boccalone Salumeria offers Natura® filtered water, both still and sparkling, which can be purchased by the cup or in a stainless steel Boccalone bottle that includes free lifetime refills.Boccalone items will soon be available for parties and catering, including delivery in the downtown area courtesy of a custom-designed bright red “salumi-cycle,” designed and built by Sycip Designs of Santa Rosa.
